SHIPPING & POLICIES

SHIPPING

We ship tubers via USPS Priority Mail throughout April to the continental United States. We do not offer early shipping.

We do not automatically combine multiple orders and adjust your shipping costs accordingly (because let's be honest, it's a pain).

However, if you email us your order numbers, we will do our best to combine orders and refund extra shipping costs as necessary because you keep us in business and we want you to be happy! All orders must be going to the same physical address.

Please ensure your email and shipping address are correct and complete during checkout. Returned packages will not be eligible for shipping fee refunds.

STORE
POLICIES

All orders are final. We do not accept cancellations or changes to orders once placed.

Each listing is for one (1) dahlia tuber unless otherwise noted.

We guarantee the tuber you receive will be true to variety with a viable eye and healthy neck.

Please examine your order immediately upon arrival and contact us via email or the contact form below (not social media) within 48 hours of your order being delivered (not opened) with any concerns.

Be sure to take pictures of your concern, including the variety name stamped on your tuber, so we can better assist you in making it right.

After that 48 hour window, the buyer accepts responsibility for the tuber as we cannot be held responsible for improper storage, weather, growing conditions, improper watering, pest damage, exposure to pesticides/herbicides or negligence.

CUSTOMER CONDUCT POLICY

We are happy to address our customer's concerns via email or the contact form below (not on social media)

We value respectful communication.

Disparaging, threatening or otherwise inappropriate communication will result in order cancellation and a refund.

VIRUS POLICY

We follow all the American Dahlia Society (ADS) recommendations to help control disease in Dahlias.

We sanitize our snips between each plant when harvesting flowers, we sanitize shears when taking down the plants at the end of the season, and we sanitize shears between clumps when dividing tubers. During the growing season, we cull symptomatic plants and spray for pests as needed to cut down on virus transfer via insects.

Even with all these practices in place, according to the American Dahlia Society's 2022 virus research, an average of 87% of healthy, asymptomatic dahlia plants carry at least one virus.

We will continue our efforts to minimize dahlia virus in our operation but please understand that dahlia viruses are common, are easily spread by insects and can present with little to no symptoms.

Therefore, we do not offer refunds or replacements for virus-related issues

By purchasing from Dahlias & Dogwood, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
